the whole to be executed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works. The areas coloured green and yellow to be handed over to Government free of cost, on completion. The entire reclamation to be completed with- -in a period of 3 years from the date of sale. (f.) The Government to form and chanel the roads coloured

green within two years of their being handed over. (g.) Any rights as regards marine frontage shall extend only

to that boundary of the lot between the points A & B on

the plan, which measures 1,200 feet.

(h.) The purchaser of the lot to pay the sum of $1,000 into

the Colonial Treasury within one week of date of sale to defray the cost of diverting the existing drains which carry off surface water from the Shaukiwan Road and adjoining land: the work to be carried out by the

Government.

(i.) Permission will be granted to the purchaser to obtain

earth from Crown Land in the vicinity of the lot at points to be approved by the Director of Public Works for the purpose mentioned in (e). The purchaser will also be permitted to remove any boulders met with in excavating earth from such place and he must trim off and leave all such places in a tidy condition on the completion of his operations.

(j.) The exact boundaries of the lot to be determined before the issue of the Crown Lease and premium and Crown Rent to be then adjusted in accordance with the rates at which the lot was sold. The boundary marked EF to be subject to special re-adjustment by the Director of Public Works when the laying-out of the locality is finally determined upon and before the issue of the

Crown Lease.

2.

As it is intended to use the area for coal storage purposes, there will also be a condition as follows:-
